Man it was wet and cold as the Tailgate 2008 crew headed off to see the Dawgs play against Tech. The players played with heart but could not overcome the shuttle pass runs of GT. Between GT's good runs, our bad defensive coaching and the referees inconsistent calls, we could not catch a break.
Good to see the clan from Mississippi make it and bring our lone Commodore.
Thanks to the crew for the seasons excitement.

UGA 42 / Kentucky 38 DAWGS WIN!
Doing the Tailgating from our respective homes this week as Georgia is on the road at Kentucky. What an edge of the seat, nail biten, fight and scratch ending to a game. If Munson had been there he would have broken another chair. Our 14th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs held on to down the Kentucky Wildcats, 42-38, in a game at Commonwealth Stadium that looked like a heavy weight fight. Blow after blow countered. In the end, the fight went to the Dawgs. The Bulldogs have won 11 of the last 12 against the Wildcats and hold a 49-11-2 lead in the series.
Hopefully we get the penalty thing under control, Useless penalties hurt us and make the fight harder than it needs to be.
Auburn next, Let's get ahead early and stay there.....

The Photo says it all.....
If we only had another quarter we could have................
Well you get the idea. What a whoopin we took on saturday at the hands of Alabama.
By the time eorgia figured out what was arong there was not enough time on the clock. Hand it to Alabama for showing up ready to play.
Props to the Dawgs for a great comeback attempt. To be down 31 to 0 at half time and to come within 11 points at the end was a great feat. Miller's run back on the kick started the wake up we needed. Still all and all we had a great tailgate time.
Gameday behind Myers Hall and we had great seating for the half time response of the gameday guys.
Doc and Uncle Joe held down the tailgate spot while Barry, Lisha, Kevin, Kyle, Jacob and myself ventured down to check out the Gameday set behind Myers Hall then on down to the Dawg Walk. What a crowd. The boys were a little short when it came time to see the Dawgs comin through. Jacob and their Dad, Barry made for great viewing platforms.
Well it was a "Blackout" and almost everyone there was dressed in black. You have to laugh at one display of an Elephant graveyard. It had a big sign that asked the question, It is a funeral, right Bama? Unknown to the Dawgs it was ours. Man what a whoopin the Dawgs took in the first half. 31 to 0. As I said at the opening. The Blimp say's it. Oow or to qoute the great philosopher Homer... "Dohhh!"
At least the Loss is over. Let's focus on beating the Hillbillies in two weeks.
It was still a great time and good fellowship was enjoyed by all.

As soon as I return from Columbia we will post the photo's video's and post game highlight.
